How does the programme work

Seychelles PLUS works on a Point System where by each destination has an allocated amount of points which are earned once a return trip is completed on any of   Air Seychelles International flights.

The Programme rewards its most loyal members by having three different levels of membership which are calculated on the amount of points the member has earned over the calendar year. Redeeming points for free tickets will be subject to availability as determined by Air Seychelles. Peak seasons should be avoided when redeeming points due to the high load.

As part of a continued effort by Air Seychelles to offer its members added value and attractive rewards, we have introduced a new benefit exclusive to members. Access to CIP Lounge will be available by redeeming 800 points per person, for all tier levels.
Due to the change of the points system, the points required to reach the tier status has now been amended to be more achievable.

Please note that all accounts for existing FFP members will be made dormant if there is a minimum period of inactivity of 1 year. All points on the account will be terminated, and access to the account will need to be reapplied for. All points for current and active members will have a 2 year validity period. If the points are not used within this period, they will expire.  For example, if you earned points for a flight travelled on 1st of April 2010, these points will expire on the 1st of April 2012.

All points held by members on the system will be carried over to the new system, and will fall under the new rules and be subject to expire after a 2 year period.

If a ticket is valid one way only on an Air Seychelles flight, only half the points will be earned. In addition to the permanent bonus plan, attractive promotions will be offered regularly and exclusively to our Seychelles PLUS members. Please note that only a limited amount of seats are offered on each flight for travel with Reward tickets.

Examples: -A member flying on a return ticket to France/Italy/London will earn 1720 points if flying on Pearl Class, and 860 points if flying in Economy class; 

-A member needs 8400 points to be awarded a free Pearl Class return ticket to fly from Seychelles to Johannesburg and/or vice versa, or 4200 points for an Economy class return ticket on the same route. 

-To claim 10kgs excess baggage on a flight from a European destination, you will require 900 points.
